How to go
By Train
Today the trip is beautiful making this way to the top one of the most interesting. The way up takes around 17 min. and the way down 22 min. The price is 5 reais by car and anothers 5 reais per person. Vans (10 reais p/person) with credencials are allowed but they charge for the service (always negotiate), if you are in a group maybe it is the best option but worth to mention that in the week-ends you probably going to get traffic in this way
Watch out
The car ways to Corcovado are dominates by, so called, "guides". They intimidate the tourists to use their services. Don't accept it, just say no thanks and pass or take the train.
