Leblon

We love Leblon and it’s hard to find anyone who doesn’t.

Right next door to Ipanema, Leblon it's magical. Charming and sophisticated, the neighborhood is the meeting point for artists and intellectuals and a paradise for the gourmets. Leblon grew in smaller proportions than Ipanema, maybe that's why is so cozy.

During the day you can have breakfast in Talho Capixaba (a wonderful deli with delicious breads and sandwichs) or Cafeina, a coffee house and bakery. The only problem is in the week-ends you have to wait a little but it compensates when you eat in one of the charming tables at the sidewalk.

Once you finish go to the beach enjoy the sun, have coconut water and lay down in the sand. In Sundays the street along the coastline is closed for people ride their bikes, skates or simply walk.(see the picture at right)
For lunch plenty of excellent options and depending of which one you can go straight from the beach.

Night

Intense and diverse night life, you have a lot to do there, especially in Baixo Leblon - place with a lot of bars close to each other in the street - in the Av. Ataulfo de Paiva.
You can spend the entire night drinking and talking to your friends, the only reason to leave is to go to another bar try its delicious or to have a slice of pizza in the famous Pizzaria Guanabara that stays open until 6:00 am. (see the picture below).

Or you can just cross the street and go to dance in the Av. General San Martin.
There are night clubs like Melt and Bombar.
The street is always crowded in the week-ends not only because the clubs but also the bars like Devassa, that makes its own beer and it's delicious.

There are excellent restaurants in the street Dias Ferreira. Italian, Japanese like Manekineko and the incredible Sushi Leblon, German - Herr Pfeffer - and of course Brasilian specialties like Barra Brasa. Normally they are open until late night and always packed.

After dancing if you're still a little hungry, B B Lanches - the best sandwich in town - is the best choice, you can also try their juices of fresh fruits, heavenly, and open 24 hour.
